Wakefield Warriors Varsity Defeats Paul VI in Low-Scoring Affair
Both teams were strong in the pitcher’s circle Saturday, but Wakefield Warriors Varsity defeated Paul VI 3-2. Abby allowed just three hits to Paul VI.
Paul VI got on the board in the first inning. An error scored one run for Paul VI.

Abby led things off in the circle for Wakefield Warriors Varsity. She lasted seven innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out seven and walking one.

Kimmy Thibodeau started the game for Paul VI. She surrendered three runs on two hits over four innings, striking out four. Lizzie Thibodeau threw two innings in relief.

Wakefield Warriors Varsity launched one home run on the day. Livy had a dinger in the first inning.

Katie and Livy each collected one hit to lead Wakefield Warriors Varsity.

Paul VI was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Caroline Susco had the most chances in the field with eight.
