The Wakefield Lady Warriors out jousted the Lee Lancers on Tuesday by a score of 83-25. Wakefield blasted out to a 47-13 lead during the first half thanks to the aggressive defense of Jayde Spinner, which yielded 7 steals and 3 blocked shots. Jayde also helped out on the offensive end of the court with 8 points.
In the second half another Lady Warriors scoring wave ensued thanks in large part to senior Jami Tham who finished the night with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 steals. Lauryn Freeman also added points to the board with her strong play under the basket, which resulted in 14 points and 7 rebounds. And, to put an exclamation point on the win, Taylor Thompson and Hannah Foley both hit 2 sweet shots from behind the three point arc and respectively added 10 and 15 points to the board.
