Thursday evening, the Warriors overcame obstacles by winning against Lee HS despite being down four players, including starter Kayla Matlack. Mena Brook didn’t miss a beat when she stepped in to contribute in a big way with four aces and seven attacks including four kills. Grace Hanna and Chelsea Rios delivered strong performances. Hanna had 18 serves, 14 aces and 9 attacks, 7 kills for the evening while Rios had 7 serves and 5 aces and 12 attacks and 7 kills. Rachel Chapuis had 2 aces, a number of saves and quality setting during the match. Lily Galloway came off the bench for key serves; Angelica Hoffman and Suheila Mukhtar had a couple good passes each that kept the point alive; Claudia Bryant delivered an ace when we needed it, save two balls and had 4 attacks with 2 kills in the match. Although we were short players, we pulled together and got the job done. Next match is home against Edison. Please come and support your team!!
