Varsity Girls Basketball Playing in Oakton Holiday Tourney

The Warriors came out on fire and played very well. The chemistry and team play was obvious tonight and we took an early lead with a great cross from Ricardo to Oscar Salas-Lopez who scored. The second goal was scored by Abenezar Shewago on a shot from 25 yards away after a beautiful combination play


Congrats to the Girls Lightweight 4 who finished 1st at States and finished 3rd at Nationals. The team consists of Parker Michos, Anotnia Kotliarov, Astrid Henkle, Grace Peterson, and Lee Frederick.  These ladies have been consistent all season and are reaping the benefits at the culmination of Nationals for Crew.  Times at Nationals – 5:37.1


Xavier Taylor turned in another stellar performance on the track at Region 5C Track and Field Meet at John Champe High School.  Xavier had already performed well at the district level capturing the GOLD in the 100m, 200m, and 400m dashes!  Yesterday was no different!  Xavier has captured GOLD again in the 100m dash (11.08),

Men’s Crew Novice 8 Boat Takes 1st Place in State Competition

The Wakefield Men’s Novice 8 Boat defeated all of their competition in their State level race. The men’s team rowed 5:00 beating their closes opponent by 4 seconds who was South County.
