Game Recap

The Warriors freshman volleyball team’s strong service proved too much for the J.E.B. Stuart Raiders on their home court last night. Warriors picked up the first set 25-11 earning points off seven aces from five players. Thi Ley, Ashley Flores, Quincy Jackson, Nevaeh Wallace and with Leah Aiken coming off the bench all scored points from service aces. The Raiders fought back in the second set but the Warriors once again showed resilience in keeping them at bay with at 25-22 victory. Wakefield served four aces in the second set. Anna Wood, Megan Mazel and Nawal Khalil earned points from multiple unreturned serves. Quincy Jackson, Leah Aiken, Anna Wood and Megan Mazel all scored aces. The Warriors attempted attacks six times which resulted in three kills.
